Jonathan is an expert-level John F. Barnes MyoFascial Release® therapist, licensed massage therapist, and certified IIN Health and Nutrition Coach with a strong background in athletic performance and high-level competition.
Jonathan attended the Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated and became a licensed massage therapy practitioner. He quickly understood current massage therapy methods did not achieve the results he had hoped for with his clients. The search for a better way began.
In his quest to relieve back and hip pain, he realized he had found a powerful, holistic treatment in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy. Through that modality of treatment and training, he found the most authentic and effective form of manual therapy.
Jonathan is very passionate about expanding upon his knowledge and skills and continues to train under John F. Barnes by attending MFR seminars each year. Jonathan is very in tune with the needs of the body and strives to use those skills in following those cues throughout the fascial system. Jonathan is committed to bringing many other advanced tools and technics to his practice, and he aims to help clients heal quickly and regain mobility. He is constantly attending seminars and treatment technics, including trigger point therapy, Erik Dalton Myoskeletal Technics, and Til Luchuo Orthopedic Bodywork.
Jonathan believes that one must view the body as a whole to treat a client properly; therefore, a holistic approach to therapy is imperative. As a highly trained long-distance runner, Ironman triathlete, cyclist, and swimmer, Jonathan fully understands an active lifestyle is essential. He is helping others achieve their maximum potential in everyday living and healthier lifestyles.
Jonathan is excited to bring hypnosis and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) to his practice soon.
